I have a collection of vintage cards should i get them graded?
I’ve been collecting for a long time, i have a brooks robinson rookie, some 1933 goudey hofers and a few t206 hall of famers, they are not in great condition but their definitley authentic and would grade. Should i get my cards graded, is it more beneficial if they are graded, do people really collect raw anymore, can someone get me up to date on how collectors are working with cards today, is everything psa, sgc graded and are my raw cards not worth anything to collectors today.

With today’s technology there are a lot of counterfeit cards out there that are hard to tell apart with the naked eye. The T206’s is a very popular set and there are quite a few counterfeits out there. It would be beneficial to get them graded regardless of the condition just to prove that they are authentic.
The 1933 Goudey’s aren’t counterfeited as much as the T206’s but there are fakes out there especially with the Babe Ruth cards in the set. Again, it probably wouldn’t hurt to get them graded to ensure their authenticity for a prospective buyer.
If you’re not going to be selling them then there’s no need to get them graded. If you do plan on selling them you’ll get buyers whether they are graded or not but the graded ones will sell for more just because the buyer will know they are real.
